Seating requests for Classroom Courses

Please contact us with any requests to be seated with other guests.

 

Allergy and dietary information

If you or any of your guests have an allergy/food intolerance or require a vegetarian/vegan food, please advise us of this at the time of booking and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Some of our foods contain allergens; please speak to Rebecca for more information.

 

Responsible Drinking

As a business, it is our policy to encourage responsible drinking. We refer you to www.drinkaware.co.uk for further information. In line with UK licensing law, we can only serve alcohol to attendees aged 18 or over and we cannot serve alcohol to attendees who appear to be intoxicated.

 

Reasonable Adjustments

**If you require reasonable adjustments in order to undertake the WSET course and exam, or to attend an online course or classroom class or to attend an online or classroom exam, please let us know at least 60 days before the beginning of the course. This is so we may prepare to be organised for you at the time of the course and the time of the examination. This will also give Rebecca Lamont Wine School APP sufficient time to notify WSET to ensure all reasonable adjustments are compliant.

 

Gift Letters

If you are redeeming a Rebecca Lamont Wine School Gift letter we will verify by date of the letter and the name and of the person presenting the gift.

 

WSET Online and Classroom Courses

Candidates must be over the UK legal minimum age for the retail purchase of alcoholic beverages.

 

WSET Online and Classroom Course Cancellations/Refunds

Bookings for WSET courses are refundable up to 28 days prior to the Course Start date minus the cost and postage of the wine school materials (WSET L3 £90: WSET L2 £50: WSET L1 £25).

 

Covid-19: If a Classroom Course needs to be cancelled before or after the start of the course, because of government guidelines, candidates will be offered a pro rata rebate. A virtual alternative will be offered.

 

All Refund requests must be made in writing or by email to Rebecca.lamont65@gmail.com

 

No refunds are available for cancellations received within 7 days of the Course Start date unless we manage to resell your place.

 

On occasion due to unforeseen circumstances we may need to postpone or reschedule a course or event. If an alternative date or a credit is not suitable for you we will refund payment in full (less the cost of any WSET Study materials supplied).

 

Where circumstances are beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to postpone and reschedule all or part of any course or event and no refunds will be offered

 

 

Wine School Tastings/Dinners/ WSET Course Transfers

Transfer of a booking to an alternative Course date at Rebecca Lamont Wine School is permissible up to 7 days prior to the Course Start date – subject to availability by emailing Rebecca.lamont65@gamil.com.

Transfer requests must be received in writing or by email to Rebecca.lamont65@gmail.com and will incur an Administration Fee of £30.00

 

Transferred courses are not eligible for refunds

 

WSET Course Exams

Examination dates are fixed to the course onto which you book and any transfer to an alternative exam date will incur an administration fee of £35.00.

 

Exam date transfer requests must be made in writing or by email and are subject to availability.

 

Exam date transfer requests made within 10 or fewer working days of the exam date will incur the Administration Fee of £35 plus the £30 cost of the unused exam paper.
